real cheddar cheese... from America...

There's only one "real" Cheddar and it comes from Wookey Hole, Cheddar, Somerset, England, Great Britain, Europe. :ochesey:

I live in Kamppi and I check the couple of US items shelves every week! My wishes:
I would LOVE to see some canned soup lie Progresso Minestrone
also orville redenbacher 94% fat free popcorn (kettle corn would be great!) AND
Nestle's Semi Sweet Choc Chips

That's still 6% fat.

Simply buy yourself a hot air popcorn maker and the cheap bags of popcorn. The fat content will be less than 6%
Political correctness is the belief that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

They don't have magic sliders there? http://www.amazon.com/Rold-Gold-Pretzel ... B000VK2HZ0 What about Rold Gold Pretzels or marshmellows so that you can make smores? Mind you I live in the US, so I don't count.

Try suggesting it to them. You never know, they might put the word forward and you might get your wish.

Refried beans and cheddar you can get from any Citymarket and from K-Kamppi.
For a heck of a long time now.

I've seen doritos too, but I can't think of where.

Image a smore, I have never heard of Rocky Mountain Marshmallows. Kraft is usually what we buy. I tried sendijng them to my Finnish family but they didn't care for them. I used marshmallows for rice krispie treats or cheerio bars.

They are made in the USA but for the export market. Same idea as Lipton´s yellow label tea.

I cook popcorn in a covered pan on the stove. It's important to keep it moving, so it does take a little work.

This is a topic I'm overly passionate about, as I think that being an American means that I am ruled by my stomach, and some arrogant sense that I am entitled to have every variety of everything available to me. Having a bi-yearly shipment from my mother in Philadelphia isn't satisfying my food desires.

Here's what I'm having self-imported:
KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese *Deluxe* (Velveeta Shells & Cheese is great stuff too)
American style *sharp* cheddar cheese, and Cheez Whiz
DORITOS nacho chips (is anything like this in Finland, anywhere?)
FRITOS corn chips
JELL-O everything... particularly Jell-o gelatin, and pudding mixes. I cannot make so many of my favorite recipes at ALL without pudding mix, and I can't make Jell-o Shots (ever tried these? the best!) at all. (Behnford's sells something similar from England, but not cheap, and I don't want to cheat on Jell-O, or else Bill Cosby might come after me....)
KOOL AID - also at Behnfords, but I drink this too religiously to pay that much per little package.
garlic salt (this might be in Finland, but I haven't seen it.)
hot peppers (spice, we often have at pizza places)
KRAFT parmesan cheese, or parmesan & romano
THOMAS' ENGLISH MUFFINS !!!!!! how has this not caught on here? I've also wondered what these are called in England... if they're even there.
SKIPPY or JIFF peanut butter. The Finnish stuff is a joke. I think they have Skippy at Stockmann's, but would be nice to see elsewhere.
CAPTAIN CRUNCH/CRUNCH BERRIES cereal! And cereals, in general, are awful here. I can't buy Frosted Flakes here, they say something about having less sugar? What is the point??
cake mixes and icing. Icing is different here, nothing like the rich, indulgent icings we use back home.
REESE'S PIECES & KIT-KAT bars (glad they finally got M&M's here at R-Kioski. I've been buying them everytime I'm on a boat to Stockholm.)

so. those would be my requests. Poor, needy American I am.
