I will be moving to Helsinki this summer for a internship opportunity. I was wondering on a few things because when I went there last time I didn't do as much "research" as I thought I would. (I blame Vappu

First question is:
I heard that you can get a prepaid card (like for any country) BUT I was wondering when buying the card do you get a free cell with it, because of now I live in paris (not french) and I know here they offer a free cheapy cell with the purchase of a sim card? also do you get those free minutes they give you???
If so where are these places, I asked a friend (he lives there) if he can show me when I go to live there but it would be great to have some names of these places (being that he doesn't own a cell phone of his own).
Also I have a french cell phone, if there is no deals like getting a free cell phone in purchasing a sim card at a store, then can I use my french cell and just replace the sim in that?
Second question is:
For banking, I know when I got a bank account in Paris, I had to show that I have an address in Paris and that I have incoming funds and etc. Is it the same in Finland? Because some banks in Paris won't allow the person to have a bank account unless they have a living card (residence permit) and I would need a bank account as soon as I get there. If you have any good links to banks then please do send because I would need all the info and etc.
Third question is:
How long does it take to get a residence permit? or even a working permit? I'm an american citizen (not french) but as of now I do live in Paris. Should I apply now here with the embassy in Paris? Because I wouldn't think it would be a good idea to wait till last minute. Also should the company that I will be having the internship help me in this or they only play a little role in signing some papers and etc?
Also I know here in Paris they have a law saying that all fashion interns or any interns should get some sort of payment or food stamps from the company? I was wondering if Finland has that kind of law, being that I know all countries are different maybe there is something of that?
If you read this or posted back thanks for taking the time.... Yeah I know some questions are very stupid but I'm just trying to figure out everything so I'm not that lost when I get there!
KIITOS EVERYONE!
