i have had my new nokia telephone for less than two months , it has been back twice to be fixed , in total it took 4 weeks to come back to me, now yesterday I tuned the phone on (first time since I got it back) the phone was on for about two hours and went blank. I have pulled the battery out etc etc, but it will not turn back on, battery is charged , did it with my other phone. So I have to take it back to Nokia again today, do I have any rights to ask for a new phone?? or will they just send it off for two more weeks??
Thanks

See the sticky at the top of this forum
Political correctness is the belief that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.
Re: What are my rights?
Go back to the repair place and tell them it's your 3rd time there. Tell them how much time you have been without the phone and be nice but firm and show you are not happy but of course don't take it out on them personally. They are just doing their jobrichard berman wrote:i have had my new nokia telephone for less than two months , it has been back twice to be fixed , in total it took 4 weeks to come back to me, now yesterday I tuned the phone on (first time since I got it back) the phone was on for about two hours and went blank. Had the same problem with an iPod. Repaired twice under guarantee, then was quoted 140€ for the last repair. So we dumped it. Not planning to get another one. Rotten apple.

Sticky will tell about consumer rights...
Jas-rho approach seems reasonable..
Where did the debate on "barnd names cost and quality vs cheap usable and works/looks OK" go!!

Re: What are my rights?
Thanks everyone for your help, I seem to be on the phone to Elisa 24/7 and its always the same F....ing music for 20 mins

Web hosting from 8€ a month http://www.Oxterweb.net
Re: What are my rights?
Have you been returning it thru Elisa or direct to nokia? In case the former - Nokia has a care center called the "mobile spa" in the center, just off alexanterinkatu, on...IIRC, mikonkatu. (please forgive poor spelling) You can bring any Nokia phone there, although they do try to say somewhere that it's just if you bought it there. I ignored those signs.
I had similar issues w/a nokia 3x, though my interval between repairs was 3 months. Tried jas_rho method, but not as successfully (always got a repair back). Takes so long to get phone back started putting it off w/the last repair - LCD light flickering off. This was to my disadvantage as then the LCD shattered...so no way would they cover it and wanted 80 euros for repair. Sigh. For a phone where some feature is always broken, always has been broken, will invariably be broken it just wasn't worth it.
