They have hijacked my thread and turned it in to a grammar lesson.

zax & anas465,

What about the language test included in the assessment? Is it a hard one ?

I heard they have 8 hour long assessment test.

Does anybody know more information about this test ?
This assesment test will basically provide hiring manager a second, external opinion. There is no guarantee that you get job , if you pass this . But there is a possibilty that you can get job , even if you didn't score well in this test.

Language test must be a recent thing. There was none of that ~5 years ago.

Anyway, don't worry about language test (either). I doubt that it is some formal question
that you can prepare by brushing up with a grammar book in few days.
You either have command of language or you don't.

Isn't those language tests usually just that interviewers switch to the language that is tested? So instead of "How was your weekend?" you hear "Kuinka viikonloppusi meni? " or "Hur var din helg?" (and I'm really not sure about that last one :)

The language test can differ from one candidate to another I think.

No grammar, in my case it was reading a text, summarize it in a limited amount of words / Write a newspaper article ....
