The Finnish economy is screwed if they don't start competing. I would love to buy everything from here but the prices just make it impossible.
Hmmm... you know as a Finn I just have given up banging my head into the brick wall and just "accept" certain facts of life and don't trouble my head with politics. The "point" is that as a Finn we have always been screwed by the government...be it taxes or anything even remotely connected... as in why is Finnair's Helsinki-Milan return flight 2x the price than a Milan-Helsinki flight (easy - everyone in Helsinki want s to go to Milan but nobody in Milan wants to go to Helsinki)
So yeah, we invent ways to screw the government back instead of whining as it has no effect... and maybe draw a rude boat into the election ballot as a protest.
"By the pricking of my thumbs,
Something wicked this way comes."

Hi!
If you're looking for 100 x DVD-R and would like to get fast delivery, order 2 x 50 DVDs which are in stock for immediate delivery from Tallinn.
http://www.verkkokauppa.com/popups/prod ... p?id=29314
The price is 2 x 15,90 + 6,70 for mailing = 38,50 e. (39 c each).
- - The packs of 100 DVD have longer delivery time, but their price is just 3 e cheaper.
- The above is if you pay with credit card or e-banking. Cash on delivery (postiennakko costs 4 e extra)
Works fine - ordered my DVDs just 3 weeks ago.
The delivery took a only few days: ordered on their website Fri evening - picked up at the post office on Wednesday evening.

My guess is that most people buy them here, and even if not, Teosto's benefitss, who gets the money from the taxes, still prevail ahead of consumers' and retailers .
Buying online is just a way to let the steam out and that is why Verkkokauppa's operations are relatibly well toleared; anyone complaining about the tax gets to hear
"are you stupid or what, buy abroad"...
