Re: Winter and soup (talvi ja keitto)...
In English? Ummm... I've got a few old "classic ones" even my sis took the one granny had, but that was printed in the 1890's and full of handwritten recipes in the middle... The "martat" has a "basic" cookbook I know is very simple and they're on the money with nutrition and low cholesterol...

I don´t remember seeing one. But every basic cookbook has a soup section. Is there a Finnish soup cookbook?

Update:
Today is the 20th of February, winter will soon come to an end, and soon it will be time for grilling food outdoors.

well maybe winter will end soon where you live, here there is a metre of snow in my yard and it is a cozy -18C outside.
moving is in the bad <-> crazy continuum

Well, the temperature here is below freezing, and my yard has been full of snow for about two and a half months with more snow yet to come.
However, it is now long past New Year, and spring is only around the corner.
Get ready to fire-up the barbecue!
