No its not their job. Your job is to prove you have funds. A certificate of owning 1000 yaks in Tibet is not "proof". Money in the Finnish bank account is.

or ur tellin me that they simply use their hunches to tell only if a "Bank Account" is Valid or not but these hunches never work for Personal check?

i think bank books are checked for authenticity and i don see a reason why checks don get checked for validity.

Immigration officials don't clear any checks, they don't need to, as they can ask to see cash or bank statement they understand.
How do you know if check is valid? By cashing it? Do you know how long that takes?
