No. BTW, your English isn't all that great either. Sorry! :(

Finnish is VERY important. However, getting a job here without Finnish language skills is not impossible.

I think Postman Pat has a new one on his 'Special Delivery' programme. Or was that an MI 6.5 GTi?

I'm not sure but I believe that, based on your experience you've got, you're more likely to bag a job in Hotels close to the city (Hilton, Radisson or Palace Kamp) or the Airport as most of the hotel's residents are Foreigners or English Speakers.

However, there are couple of basic criteria that you must satisfy in order to work in Finnish Hospitality Industry. Like, a Finnish Hygiene Certificate, a Salmonella Test Certificate, an Alcohol Pass regarding Alcohol Licensing Issues in Finland. Then, the employers will actually consider your application further and sometimes or usually you need to have a basic knowledge of Finnish Language.

Having said that, sometimes it's not impossible to get a hotel job without those certificates. Suppose you looking for a position in the F & B Dept. in Palace Kamp : doing an open application e.g from the home page of Palace Kamp is usually a waste of time. When in fact, its worth spending some money to make a call directly from your country and asked for the Food & Beverage Manager where you can literally talk to him/her personally and probably send your details on his/her personal email.

Sometimes it works..: one of my friend's experience...:)

Good Luck :)
