OK, so its about an itinerant farmhand in the 1900's west, he s going house to house, ends up at a Finn-Swede farm, where they're having a harvest feast and he ends up being offered beer and booze an dancing the lady of the house as well as the maid and gets caught being too friendly with the missus by the husband and continues on the road... Well, its pretty well rhymed with the Swedish bits in there.
These is more or less in Swedish, but its more or less mashup towards the end.
”Va’ ska du vara min poike?”
”Hei, komma du hit min hyysi”.
”Kom, kom inne, du jävlattu finne.”
Isäntä yritteli vähä förbanna,
venska och finska, inte alttisamma,
vaan olkaa te niin kuin hemma.
Hei, tanssittakaa min Emma.
”Mitä sinä meinaa, mitä förbanna.
Ryyppä min ööli ja halata min mammaa.”

If you want the full text, you could try posting a copy of the complete Finnish lyrics (to which Pursuivant linked in his post) on LyricsTranslate.com while leaving a request for an English language translation.Ningel wrote:Can someone help me with finding translation of Tapio Rautavaara's song "Kulkuripoika"?
