Although at first glance you might think the label in Upphew's photo shows sand ("sand for sanding," literally) when you look at the vertical text it clarifies that the bag contains crushed rock (sepeli, also known as murske, with a granularity of 3-6 mm). Seems to be exactly what you had in mind.
