Insurance won't pay to the student, they will cover the hospital bill.

What does it say in your insurance policy?xyzxyz wrote:they will cover the whole hospital bill ...and if sickness is continue like sugar or kidney problem then will they pay continuously for long time?

Pre-existing conditions are excluded in all insurances.xyzxyz wrote:and if sickness is continue like sugar or kidney problem then will they pay continuously for long time?
If you already have diabetes or kidney problems you will have to pay the (high) medical costs for that in Finland yourself.
If you suddenly get such a disease while in Finland, you will be covered at least until the end of this insurance contract.

Makes me wonder if he's like the other poster who had something wrong with him.... anal fissure I think.
I wonder if he is already sick and just hasn't told his insurance. And will come here and 'suddenly' fall ill LOL.

Sounds like a different person to me, and it's also financially a completely different dimension:Flossy1978 wrote:Makes me wonder if he's like the other poster who had something wrong with him.... anal fissure I think.
Surgery for a chronic anal fissure is a small one-time surgery that likely costs somewhere in the range of € 500-1000.
That's not cheap, but only around 1-2 months of the income requirement for a student.
A serious chronic disease that where you have to pay regular bills yourself can easily be too expensive for being affordable.

I didn't say it was the same person, I said he sounded like the other poster who had an anal fissure, which needed surgery, who tried to get it done here in Finland on insurance. It was clear he already had the issue before coming here.
So it makes me think this poster also has a disease already. No insurance company would take him on, or if they did, he'd be paying a crapload, if he admitted to being ill in the first place. Cause you don't just come to Finland and suddenly wake up thinking you are ill and get diagnosed with Diabetes, once you are here....
