Re: Finnish translation question
"Taloushallintokurssi" but "finanssihallinta" flies too -it implies more banking/insurance oriented than a generic level.

Re: Finnish translation question
Thanks Pursuivant. I took classes in following areas;Pursuivant wrote:"Taloushallintokurssi" but "finanssihallinta" flies too -it implies more banking/insurance oriented than a generic level.
The income statement
Cash flow analysis
Seeking of funding, funding alternatives
Cost accounting/profitability analysis
Investment calculations
I am contemplating were it falls into either "Taloushallintokurssi" or "finanssihallinta" ?

Re: Finnish translation question
Go with "finanssihallinta"... I'm more interested in what you come up with the "income statement" so it doesn't sound silly
The finance uses a lot of old schwedicisms, I don't know if "reskontra" ever been successfully got a Finnish word for it...

Re: Finnish translation question
Yes I did go with "finanssihallinta" and did ask from some professionals in the field, It is more specific than clustering myself in a vague and general field. Financial and accounting terms will have slightly different interpretations in different countries, but the terminologies in Finland get more complicated for me. I guess the effects of words and languages creeping into Finnish will help out more and more in future.Pursuivant wrote:Go with "finanssihallinta"... Thanks, by the way.
