Forgot this thing.Dennis2014 wrote: Social officer want to give 100% custody for me because they noticed that my husband never help me to take care of kids. I have been taking care of my kids for whole time. Social officer recognized that my husband is alcohol addicted. That's why they don't want to give a custody right to him.
Custody and who is the prime care taker are different things.Tiwaz wrote:Forgot this thing.Dennis2014 wrote: Social officer want to give 100% custody for me because they noticed that my husband never help me to take care of kids. Social security can say and think what they want, ultimate word on custody (sole/shared) and with whom child resides is at hands of court if parents cannot come to agreement. So do not presume that you have now sole custody of the child, you can be rather rudely surprised.

The children can live 100% of the time with you, but you might still have joint custody.
It is unusual to get sole custody when the other party doesn't agree.
