So as I walked in I noticed one particularly 'spurgu' looking guy talking to the vartija in a very secretive manner in the back corner of the store. I figured that the 'guy' was just wasting the vartija's time with some nonsense talk.
I picked up what I needed quickly and went to the cashier where I was met with a myyjä I had never once seen before in the entire time that I have visited this store, so I figured she was just a fill-in.
I turn to my right and see that the spurgu dude and his spurgu friend are carrying in a somewhat 'concealing manner' some bottles of 'Koff' beer. I said to my friend "It's 10 past 10 what are these guys thinking?" and I looked over their shoulder to double check that the Siwa employees had indeed locked up the alcohol section.. or well.. almost. The metal grate wasn't locked to the floor like normal, it was only partially pulled down.
So I'm standing there about to pay, in front of these guys as I'm watching them put what looks like 10 to 12 bottles of @#$% Koff beer

The vartija just looks up at the ceiling and blatantly ignores me! So I ask again, louder this time "Hey it's past 10pm I thought you couldn't sell alcohol to people after 9pm" and he's still looking at the ceiling ignoring me whilst I'm standing literally 2 feet from this guy! At the same moment the cashier is starting to look paranoid and she mumbles something to the vartija that I couldn't hear to which he (still looking at the ceiling) simply says "Mmm".
So...
What the hell did I just witness? Some sprugu dude quietly asks the vartija if he will overlook him and his alcoholic mate buying a couple of beers well after 9pm? To which he AND the cashier actually comply?
Unless I am mistaken this is quite against the law and such an offence could/should warrant BOTH people losing their jobs, and the right to work in either of those positions in the future.
Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the ordeal happening, but my friend was a witness and there were at least 2 other people walking into the store who may have seen what was going on.
Maybe I am mistaken about the law in speicfics and am making a fuss about nothing, but the manner in which this whole thing went down seemed super suspicious and last time I checked (which was 10 minutes ago) the law still states that the times for selling alcohol are from klo 9-21, after which they must be securely locked away from the public.
Anyway, what should I do about this? Should I inform Siwa? Would they even do anything, would it even be worth the trouble? Could they even tell from the cash register or something showing proof that they sold the alcohol past 21:00? I saw the woman scan the items, is there some sort of electronic record in the machine?
Thanks.
