I guess since you proved your identity on the 1st of july , you and I fall in same category and shouldnt expect decisions before february.. Just trying to see if the customary 7 months is still in play since there are no more updates on the Migri website.

Wow..That even seem faster than the 7 months...I guess the whole 'immigrant crisis' effect on the decision taking time has waned a lil bit. I applied on the 19th July and confirmed my identity by 27th July and i have set my sights on feb/march at the latest. So I will just take a chill pill

Let's know how it goes bro

Hey Guys, I would like to know if a bad financial situation could affect my application. I have got bills that went to ulossoto due to circumstances beyond my control. I have contacted to make a payment plan but they wouldn't make it for me because my income is low and they don't want to deprive me of my basic official allowance. My question is, since i have not neglected my payment obligations intentionally, what percentage chance would i have in your view, does anyone have a similar situation?

Why can't you apply for Citizenship after you've fixed your financial problem?
I really don't understand the need for so many people to get their Citizenship here and right now, when they have other issues needing to be addressed.

What type of bills were they? If they are private debts, they have no bearing.

"To be able to acquire Finnish citizenship you must have paid any applicable taxes, fines, student loans, hospital fees, and other such payments. These payments are called ‘payment obligations under public law’."

Congrats!
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

well I'm thinking in the application are they gonna really check for example there is this part asking you to write when did you go out of Finland and when come back. if I can't remember all of them and did't write some of them, is it OK?

If we are talking about short trips abroad, it does not matter. They are looking for trips longer than a month:
