, but I remember people mentioning that their number stopped moving before moving to stage 2, isn't it?
Yeah I was actually about to say same. A few people reported that they were moved to processing or even decision made after their queue numbers were stagnant for a while. So Good luck! I truly hope for you that that’s the case.

It's not wise to wait for two years .Even the most patient person goes wild,It's ridiculous to treat some people differently.Subzero wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 1:25 pmWe are so desperate that we see everything as a sign......pizzapasta wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 2:36 pmYeah I was actually about to say same. All jokes aside, this application has really shown me how frustration, anxiety and breakdown can affect human beings day to day life!! All thanks to Migri for hurting some applicants without reasons!!Mamu wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 2:07 pmIt's not wise to wait for two years .Even the most patient person goes wild,It's ridiculous to treat some people differently.Subzero wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 1:25 pmWe are so desperate that we see everything as a sign......pizzapasta wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 2:36 pm

Edward I honestly didn't know the true meaning of the statement "Patience is a virtue" but after what Migri is doing to some of us I now understand the statement.

The ability to wait for something without getting angry or upset is a valuable quality in a person. Note: patience (noun) = the ability to wait calmly; the capacity to accept delay without getting angry | virtue (noun) = a quality or trait that most people consider to be morally good or desirable in a person
Going through this stage of my life has made me realize this.
Sir, I haven’t got notification from them!! The last time I checked I was still stage one with queue number 639Mamu wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 7:53 pmHey Edward!Subzero wrote: ↑Wed Apr 05, 2023 6:41 pmEdward I honestly didn't know the true meaning of the statement "Patience is a virtue" but after what Migri is doing to some of us I now understand the statement.

Has your application moved to stage 2?
This is complete BS. The whole reason people constantly vote left is because the loudest vocal minorities plus liberalist masses scream at the top of their lungs that the world would literally come to a freaking end if the right wing got into power even once. Liberalist and socialist clowns tote some doomsday theory nonsense that if eg. the Finns party ever got into power, they'd just outright completely close Finland's borders, pull all the money out of schools and hospitals and something, something, slippery slope, the world would just end. You need a balance of left and right. We've had nothing but left for the last 12 years. It's no wonder things are sliding so far downhill. We've been throwing money away for over a decade, maybe it's time to stop propping up failing businesses and policies so you know... people actually start using their brains to solve problems instead of relying on handouts.esimerkki wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 2:08 amI started to like you
But PS ( what is considered right on Finnish scale) policy is based on fear mongering , they offer little to none solutions.
So can you please show how PS or Kokoomus can solve the problems you mentioned?
By the way I still didn't cast my vote.
Truly one of the dumbest things I've ever read on this forum or anywhere.esimerkki wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 8:26 amI think they want foreigners in Finland so they keep fear mongering their base , and blame foreigners for everything going wrong in Finland.
Immigration is a vital card for them to play, and they need that card. Can you imagine their speech without scaring their base?
Great, even more ignorance...pizzapasta wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 9:17 amI agree with esimerkki in the sense that populist parties actually need immigrants around to put the blame on when governance is not going well.
I think if you want to have heated political discussions you should go create a dedicated topic on the forum and take all your political assumptions there instead of flooding the citizenship branch37yqp8098y5 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 6:14 pmTruly one of the dumbest things I've ever read on this forum or anywhere.esimerkki wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 8:26 amI think they want foreigners in Finland so they keep fear mongering their base , and blame foreigners for everything going wrong in Finland.

Time for you to do some reading because you both clearly don't know the first thing about PS's policies.

You could also read this if you have more attention span than a goldfish and know how to read an academic paper: https://core.ac.uk/reader/220157040
In short, it says that every other party has declined to even discuss or mention the topic of immigration, leaving it solely up to PS to take up as a topic. In conclusion, it also served to create unfair prejudice toward the party as they basically got singled out for even daring to have opinions on immigration.
PS has been quoted by many popular politicians and journalists as the most left-wing party of the "non-socialist" parties. They are even strongly supportive of Finland's current 'welfare state' setup which I quite frankly totally opposite but with more than half the country getting payouts from Kela, there's little anyone can likely do to pull off those leeches. Speaking like one party is either "right or left" is some of the most ignorant crap ever. PS is economically as left as it gets, and the only reason it even gets called "right wing" is because it's a populist party. Which I doubt even half this forum would be able to say what that means without googling it.
Immigration is ONE of the party's policies and it is always highly blown out of proportion because it's the easiest way for the socialist swines to attack the party for being "racist" and "xenophobic" because it is the only party that dares say that our current immigration policy needs to change. Largely immigration is a complete lose case scenario for Finland. We already get tens of thousands of people moving here just from EU freedom of movement rights. Then there's thousands more who marry someone living here. Then there's the children those people all have. It makes perfect sense that we would need to at least think very carefully as an extremely tiny country compared to our neighbors, about the grounds in which we let people come here and if we can even in a humanitarian sense take responsibility of them without harming our duties to those who are already living and working here.
Has everyone already forgotten how Angela Merkel has completely run Germany into the dirt through completely laxative policies?
Helsinki is already packed. You guys think we should just terraform even more of the sea and make more man-made islands to build more high-rise apartments? Finland hasn't even bloody discussed the topic of immigration or changing any policies in over 20 years. It's high time something changed. If you need to import more people from overseas because things aren't working then you need to reevaluate the whole purpose and point of immigration but it isn't to prop a failing system up. Let's start using our brains.
