At what age can one start taking a child to sauna? Are there special precautions or things to consider (like putting them on the lower bench for example or temperature considerations)?
What age do Finns typically take their kids to sauna?
Thanks very much!
I'm sorry if someone has asked this already. I tried to do a search but couldn't find anything.

I was actually thinking that today went we went to sauna!

It was a nice day for sauna though - we had some snow here!
I took mine when they were two months old, and kept them on my arms on lower benches. Around one year they came to upper bench, but as long as they were there nobody threw more steam. There was a bowl of cool water that I poured over them every now and then. Later my son took care of everybodys cooling: He had a big water gun full of cold water, and of course nothing was more fun that shooting the people on the benches.
