Are you people f*cking blind???
Read my post above, it highlights the part where i had written 'To all serious enquiries i will give the necessary contact details'.
If you were serious you'd have sent me a pm asking for more details as well as telling me about yourself.
Like António did. I reckon he is in with a good chance of getting an interview.
Unlike you people who keep asking me to get in touch with you, i'm not a bloody employment agent.

Yup Pete, they must think that it is you who is desperate to employ them, rather than than just being a guy who is offering his help freely to get someone a job.

But stuff 'em Pete, would you really want to work with such lazy-arsed types who can't put any more effort in than, "i want the job, call me".
Political correctness is the belief that it's possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Exactly! If they can't do better than that in contacting me then i won't go to the trouble of helping them out.
However one person made the effort and i was happy to assist him, plus he also sounds like he would be ideal for the job as well.

Bloody hell, we have a ridiculous situation going at my workplace right now.
A week or two ago, a co-worker (A, of foreign extraction) was given a task by the effective shift supervisor after it was noticed that A had nothing to do for over 50 minutes before his shift finished. He didn't go to the plane like he was meant to and was reminded by a co-worker (B, of Finnish extraction) about this. A then shoved B and told him to be quiet, this was then followed by various threats of violence towards B. Another of my co-workers (C, of Finnish extraction) overheard and saw what happened as he was in the room at the same time as A and B. A then walks out of the room and swipes out of work some 40 minutes before his shift was due to end. B informs the shift supervisor of what just went down and he then wrote a report on the incident.
Nothing happened about it for sometime as our Station Manager was away on sick leave and no one else could make decisions on such matters.
Finally today there was a meeting with all parties involved, except for C because his account of the matter was not deemed unbiased enough.
As it turns out, A denies everything that B said had happened and instead claimed he was the subject of racism. He also claimed that he had been in fear of B and C.
A will not be reprimanded for his actions towards B but did receive a written warning for leaving work early and not completing an allocated task.
A also intends to take B to court for his 'racist' accusations.

We all are mystified about what has gone on here, especially seeing as two Finns got the boot recently after a (minor) physical altercation between them a few months ago. It seems that our bosses were more than prepared to act decisively when there were just Finns involved. However when it comes to foreigners, there now appears to different rules...
A has made threats to at least one other person in the past as well, although unfortunately that was never documented. He has been a workmate for about a year, maybe less... He is of middle Eastern origin btw.
B has been a workmate of mine for the last 4 years and is one of the most laidback types you will ever meet. He is also not a liar nor a bully.
C has been a workmate for about 3 years and is also not a liar nor a bully.

This one idiot has now dug himself a massive hole and has managed to alienate himself from the whole workplace. He has also made it that much more difficult for immigrants who follow in his footsteps as people will be less inclined to trust them. I fear that this situation is still yet to come to a head as tempers will be on the boil the next few days.

Thats reason why one of my friends who employs over 50 people wont like to hire foreigners from certain origins, call it racism i call it realism. He said that whatever happens what they dont like its "racism" and yelling starts, yes he had employees who did that and he were in court because of "racism" because he set same rules to all. Court find him not quilty. He thinks its not worth of risk to employ people who probably cause problems. And that one what caused suing started when employee refused to do what woman supervisor said, you can quess where male employee was from...

Yeah, i totally understand that.
How these things can be labelled as racism when the rules are the same for everyone just perplexes me.
I was at a Lufthansa flight the other night and drove the tube to the plane after it arrived. Only half of the passengers had departed the plane when the cleaners came up into the tube as well. They were carrying on like high school kids and swearing in earshot of the disembarking passengers. I very nearly told them to mind their behaviour but bit my tongue because most of them were Somalis... Next time i'll just call their shift supervisor and tell them to keep their employees behaviour in check.

We don't perceive it as racism because the rules (our rules) are the same for every one.
But their behaviour, although not nice, is tolerated in their culture. If you start picking on it, they perceive it as a personal attack because they are different. ("at home this was never a problem")
Racism is often (wrongly) used for "culture conflict".

That's why integration (= understanding and acceptance of the local culture) is so important.
