Nage, it's of course hard to say on anyone else's behalf how long exactly it will take to learn the language "well enough" (whatever that means) but you'll be relatively ok when you'll get the hang of these sites in Finnish...

... then, you'll only have the natives to "compete" for the available jobs for... on top of that, not all jobs are announced at MOL, it's also a question of networking and "whom you know", what contacts and skills you have and so on... well surely you do have some challenge but as said I do not wish to say "it is impossible". So what can I say, good luck and keep up those Finnish studies...? It's not exactly easy to provide any "reasonable" advice with a five-year perspective with, pardon me for saying so, so much speculation involved.... I'm especially referring to the old "I can do something else in the meantime while I perfect the language" tar pit... what would you think yourself, what will this "something else" involve? This thread's between-the-lines purpose was "let's hypothetically say that I will learn the language - what about everything else?"

For example: the shrink business in USA is a win, in my country we do not have those American shrinks. Here people who graduate from let's say microbiology don't have a bright future, so they move to UK where they are more wanted and far better paid, with astronomy they go to USA. So I was wondering what is the situation in Finland with my education. For example; in high school we have only one year of philosophy, maybe in Finland you have 2 or more, here we also have a great lack of French professors etc. etc.... You go to any Balkan country with social education you can go straight digging holes with a shovel... Regarding that whole northern part of Europe is more advanced, I was assuming that you can get better jobs with social studies education. About my "meantime" sentence: I can do just about anything, I'm not so picky, I've already been doing all kind of jobs, for last two years I am working in an international SOS call center for technical and medical help, we are also partners with Falck in Finland, maybe I can go there in a Balkan department, or with some language skills work even for Finnish region. Or I can go arrange shelves in a store, I don't really care, as long as I have a higher goal that is waiting for me.

I wouldn't start to guess about the general employment rate of aspiring philosophy teachers in Finnish schools - actually I did philosophy myself at the uni as a minor, but never ventured to the old teaching profession.
